Executive Director

Maureen Hammond

Maureen Hammond is the Executive Director of the Paris Economic Development Corporation (PEDC). She was appointed to the position in August of 2020 by the PEDC Board of Directors and has 20 years of experience in economic development. As the Executive Director, Hammond is responsible for providing visible and active leadership in the development and implementation of economic development programs that address new investment, business attraction, business retention, entrepreneurship and workforce development in Paris and Lamar County.

Hammond has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and has completed the Economic Development Institute, a program of OU’s College of Continuing Education. She is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council and the International Economic Development Council.
