City Development
Planning and Community Development guides the planning, land development, building, and permitting services within the city. Additionally, the offices of Historic Preservation, Main Street, and Code Enforcement are overseen by the Director of Planning and Community Development.
City Engineering
The Engineering, Planning, and Development Department assists citizens and the development community through all stages of development, including planning, zoning, plan review, permitting, construction inspection, building inspection, and final acceptance.
Water Utilities
The primary goal of the Department of Utilities is to protect at all times the health of the citizens we serve by proper treatment and storage of drinking water, and by proper treatment of wastewater before it is returned to the environment.
Chamber of Commerce

Paris Junior College
Paris is home to PJC, a community college that has three locations within 45 miles of Paris. As a largely vocational institution, PJC can assist with workforce training and grant applications, such as the TWC Skills Development Fund.
County Appraisal District
To provide market value appraisals of all taxable property in Lamar County in a fair equitable, and cost-effective manner, and to provide services and assistance to the public and taxing jurisdictions.
