Electricity
Texas electric power infrastructure is owned and managed by Oncor Electric Delivery in the Paris area.
Oncor is a Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) and is the largest pure electric delivery company in the United States. Oncor’s customers have access to one of the most highly deregulated energy markets in the county and the power to choose from competing Retail Electric Providers (REPs) to secure a rate specifically tailored to individual preferences and project electric load requirements.
Customers also have the ability to elect up to 100% renewable energy.

Natural Gas
Natural gas in the Paris area is served by Atmos Energy. Atmos Energy is the county’s largest natural gas-only distributor. Paris is in the Mid-Tex Division of Atmos’s Service Territory which includes DFW area, the 4th largest metroplex in the United States.

Water & Sewer
The City of Paris has an abundant water supply with an average of 22 million gallons per day. The City of Paris is in the process of completely overhauling the Wastewater Treatment Plant to efficiently and effectively provide a treatment capacity of 7.25 million gallons per day. This rehabilitation project will happen in two phases of demolition and construction. Both phases are estimated to be completed by summer of 2026.
